Office & Personal Assistant / HR – permanent position
London, NW2 - Staples Corner
Czech Construction Company is seeking for an experienced and strong administrator in a role of OA/PA/HR in one person to assist in the day to day running of an office which is based in North London (Staples Corner, NW2).
This position will suit an enthusiastic individual who is pro-active, forward thinking and who can work outside the box and has the ability to multitask.
Your main duties as OA
• Screening telephone calls, enquiries, requests and complains, and handling them when appropriate
• Dealing with incoming email, faxes, post, deliveries and parcels
• Often corresponding on behalf of Technical Department (TD)
• Carrying out background research and presenting findings
• Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
• Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff
• Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management, filing, etc...
• Sorting orders and deliveries from TD
• Meeting and greeting visitors, making tea/coffee
• Further general assistance to Technical Department, Accounts Department and Employees
• Making sure the office area looks generally neat and tidy for any visitors - the cleaner will do the rest!
As PA
• Organising and maintaining diary and making appointments
• Arranging director’s travels abroad
• Responsibility for Director’s accounts and expenses
• Often corresponding on behalf of Director
• Carrying out specific projects and research
As HR
• Coordinate interviews with new employees
• Database and personnel file maintenance
• Preparing paperwork for applicants pre and post registration
• Managing the recruitment email address
• Responding to telephone and face to face queries
• Recruitment administration e.g. references
Candidate requirements
• Czech/Slovak language as a first language
• Very big attention to detail
• Very good MS Office experience - 2007 (Advanced knowledge of Excel is essential)
• Experience in a similar role and prior office experience beneficial
• Self starter and ability to pick things up with minimal supervision
• Pro-active with a can do attitude
• Excellent written and spoken English (certificate would be appreciated)
Professional telephone manner
At least 2 years experience working as an administrator in an office environment
• Enjoys administrative tasks
Very well organised as you will be working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Have an interest in construction industry and property market
Package
Hours: 8.00 am - 5.00 pm (5 days/week with accessional Saturdays). Your hours may vary with the needs of the business.
Salary: Your Annual Salary will be £14.4k to start with, with the possibility to go up to £21k or even more; plus up to £2k bonus.
Bonus scheme is reviewed and paid quarterly according to your individual performance.
Start: 1 September 2009
